Professional Development Pro™ Reporting (Company Administrators)
Need to check how your professional development programs are doing? This guide shows you how to pull reports on participation, budget use, and overall impact—so you can see how employees spend their funds and budget details at the click of a button!
- Hover over the Development Admin Tab on the sidebar and click Reporting.
- Select a date range to view your Professional Development Program details.
- Click the Download Report button for the specific report you'd like to view.
Details included in the "Requests" Report
- Employee Name- Employee that has submitted a Professional Development Request
- Program Name- The Professional Development Program the request was submitted for
- Program Budget Type- Shared budget, Individual budget, or case-by-case basis, determined by the program setup
- Pre-Approval Request Date- The date the employee submitted their initial request for pre-approval for their request
- Pre-Approval Amount- The amount submitted in their request (or updated when approved)
- Pre-Approval Estimated Completion- The date the employee entered as their expected completion date when submitting their request
- Reimbursement Request Date- The date the employee submitted their documentation and reimbursement request after receiving pre-approval and before their requested funds expired
- Reimbursement Amount- The reimbursement amount approved in their reimbursement request
- Reimbursement Completion Date- The date the reimbursement request was approved
- Currency- The currency in which the funds were issued to the employee, determined by the program setup
- Vendor- The vendor for the Professional Development request
- Description- The description and reason provided for the Professional Development request
- Status- The status of the request:
- Pre-approval requested
- Pre-approval rejected
- Partially pre-approved (only when there is a secondary approver)
- Pre-approved
- Reimbursement requested
- Reimbursement approved
- Reimbursement rejected
- Reimbursed
- Expired (when the employee doesn't submit the reimbursement request on time and the funds expire)
- Primary Approver- The Primary Approver Name, determined by the program setup
- Primary Approved Date- The date the Primary Approver Approved the request
- Secondary Approver- The Secondary Approver Name (will be blank if one is not assigned in the program setup)
- Secondary Approved Date- The date the Secondary Approver Approved the request (will be blank if one is not assigned in the program setup)
- Reimbursement Reviewer- The Reimbursement Reviewer Name assigned in the program setup
- Reimbursement Reviewed Date- The date the Reimbursement Reviewer Approved the request
- Payroll Processed Date- The date that the request was included with other reimbursed stipend expenses in a Closed Compt Payroll Report to be processed through your company's payroll.
Please note: A blank field indicates that this step in the process has not yet occurred.
Details included in the "Budgets" Report
- Program Name- The Professional Development Program for which the employee or groups were eligible during the selected timeframe
- Program Budget Type- Shared budget, Individual budget, or Case-by-case basis (Case-by-case requests will only be listed on this report if pre-approval has been completed)
- Program Budget Start Date- The start date of the Professional Development Program
- Program Budget End Date- The expiration date for the specific Professional Development Program
- Group- The Employee's name for Individual or Case-by-Case programs or the Compt group name for Shared budget programs
- Currency- The currency in which the funds were issued to the employee or group, determined by the program setup
- Budget- The budget that was issued to the employee or group, determined by the program setup
- Pre-Approved- The amount that was Pre-Approved by the Primary and Secondary (if applicable) Approver(s)
- Reimbursed- The amount that has been reimbursed for the program along with any other reimbursed stipend expenses in a Closed Compt Payroll Report to be processed through payroll.
Please note: Case-by-case basis programs may not appear in the Budgets Report because no budget is applied until the request is pre-approved. You can see the details of all case-by-case requests by accessing the Requests Report.
