Integrating BambooHR with Compt (Company Administrators)
Setting up the BambooHR + Compt API Integration
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager or support@compt.io to have the BambooHR Integration turned on for your Compt account. After the feature has been added by the Compt Customer Success team, follow the below steps:
- Go to Stipend admin and select the Company settings tab in Compt
- Under the BambooHR Settings section click on the Set Up BambooHR Integration button
- Enter your company API Key and Subdomain
- To get your BambooHR API key, log into your BambooHR account, click your name in the upper right-hand corner, and select API Keys
- Click Add New Key
- Enter an API Key Name, for example, "Compt"
- Click Generate Key, this will create the API Key to enter into the Compt site
- Log back into Compt, click the Set Up button, and enter your company API Key and Subdomain
- Though the status reads Not Set, a successful connection to BambooHR was made in the previous step.
- Click Edit additional settings to specify the field to be used for the Employee ID in Compt.
- Access the Company settings Tab in Compt, click Edit API Field Mapping under the BambooHR Settings Section.
- Select the fields you would like to map over to your Compt Team List.
(If you do not see a Compt field that you would like added or if you need a custom field added, please reach out to support@compt.io to have the field created)
- Once the fields are mapped you can trigger the sync manually or wait for the sync to happen automatically (within the hour). You can view the status of the integration on the Company Settings Tab under the BambooHR Settings section.
