Compt: How to Create a Professional Development Pro™ Program - Admins
Creating a Professional Development program in Compt allows Admins to manage employee learning benefits in one centralized system. These programs can support expenses such as tuition reimbursement, certifications, and professional training while ensuring requests are reviewed, approved, and tracked within Compt.
Admins can configure eligibility, funding structure, approval workflows, and reimbursement timelines during setup. Once configured, employees can submit professional development requests through Compt and follow the defined approval and reimbursement process.
Professional Development programs are available only if Professional Development Pro™ is included in your Compt service plan. If you do not see the Development Admin tab in your sidebar, contact your Compt Customer Success Manager or support@compt.io to enable access.
OVERVIEW
The Professional Development Pro™ module allows Admins to create structured programs that support employee learning and development.
During program setup, Admins define:
- Program details visible to employees
- Employee eligibility
- Budget structure and funding frequency
- Approval workflows for pre-approvals
- Reimbursement review process
- Request form fields employees must complete
Once the program is active, eligible employees can submit professional development requests and reimbursements through Compt.
